ABSTRACT
Almost ten years ago, in the summer 2006, the first version of the virtual specialist library for musicology (ViFaMusik) was launched, bearing the web address www.vifamusik.de. Since then, this portal offering central access to musicological specialist information has been built up and further developed. The following article starts with giving details about its organisation and the way the ViFaMusik project is financed, then it introduces the current offers of ViFaMusik and finally gives a preview of the plans to further expand ViFaMusik.
