The article announces the acceptance into the UNESCO Memory of the World-Register of the Golden Letter from Burmese King Alaungphaya to British King George II held in the collection of the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Bibliothek library in Hannover, Germany as well as announcing the October 21, 2015 launch of the online open access publishing portal PUBLISSO by the ZB MED – Leibniz-Informationszentrum Lebenswissenschaften library in Leibniz, Germany.
