ABSTRACT
The article discusses services offered to refugees by German libraries including a German class for non-native speakers offered at the Goethe-Institut, the "Lesen macht stark: Lesen und digitale Medien" reading and digital media literacy initiative of the Deutscher Bibliotheksbverband library society (DBV), and welcome posters developed by the DBV in collaboration with the Büchereiverband Österreichs library society.
