The solution to the problem of the meaning of human life is one of the determining factors in the formation of the worldview of the individual. The article discusses the solution to the problem of the meaning of life, proposed by one of the prominent representatives of existentialism - German philosopher Karl Jaspers. From the perspective of existential philosophy, the meaning of life is produced by the man himself and is personal to each individual it is unique and unrepeatable. According to K. Jaspers, man as the subject differs from the natural, material world the fact that his existence is open and not closed within its borders. Human as an ideal does not exist, but the man is an idea, it is an attempt to become human.
