Audi turns to web to boost take-up

Audi Motors has introduced a Web-based solution in a bid to increase the use of its training courses both internally and across its dealer network. In large businesses with associated dealer networks, it is traditionally seen as nearly impossible to inform all staff about the training available, explains Emma Dearman, head of the Audi Academy, which expects to deliver 8,880 training days this year. So to avoid expensive courses sometimes being poorly attended, Audi has asked system integrator Gedas to put a Web-based system in place to ensure that all courses are visible to the 4,000 Audi UK and Audi Centre staff.
