The article discusses the case of a 44-year-old patient with painless testicular mass. The patient's medical history is explored as well as the results of his laboratory examinations that led to the diagnosis of metastatic small cell carcinoma (SmCc) of the testicle. Also tackled are SmCc's pathological properties and the patient's clinical course and treatment results.

We report the imaging findings of a mature thyroid teratoma in a 5-year-old girl. Nuclear imaging showed a decrease in Tcm uptake in the right lobe of the thyroid gland. CT scan showed a slightly lobulated soft-tissue mass without calcification, fat or cystic components. Histological analysis...

Testicular germ cell tumors (GCTs) are subclassified to seminoma and nonseminomatous GCT for the purpose of treatment and prognostication. This study examined SOX2 and SOX17 expression patterns in a total of 67 cases, including 41 pure GCTs (32 seminomas and 9 embryonal carcinomas) and 26 mixed...

Germ cell neoplasia in situ is the initial manifestation for invasive germ cell tumor. Further progression will result in intratubular germ cell tumor with the majority being intratubular seminoma or intratubular embryonal carcinoma. Intratubular teratoma in the testis is exceptionally rare with...

Teratomas are the most common mediastinal germ cell tumors. Generally, they are located in the anterior mediastinum. Mature teratomas often present as asymptomatic lesions, are detected incidentally, and account for 60-70% of all mediastinal germ cell tumors. Moreover, germ cell tumors account...
