ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the bachelor's degree program offered by community colleges in Michigan including Schoolcraft College that is aimed at preparing students for craft brewing and distilling jobs. Conway Jeffress of Schoolcraft College says that their response to offering such program is based on market-driven decision. Mike Hansen of the Michigan Community College Association mentions the evolution of community colleges in responding to the needs of the community and students.
