ABSTRACT
On the basis of the results of an intervention conducted from an activity clinic perspective with occupational health physician, the aim of this article is to look at the links between development of feelings, development of Power to act and development of Operational Leeway. We analyse the intervention as a way to confrontate the professionals to their own activity and a way to product dialogue between them, during which they discuss arguments for and against specific procedures. We conclude that although the physicians were initially affected, embarrassed, and taken aback by the analysis of activity, this destabilization was productive in that it led to discuss the goals of actions and to reflect upon the relationships between the goals and motives of the activity. We analyse it as the condition of a change in feelings and a development of the power to act.
