ABSTRACT
In recent years, in Quebec, lean management have been implemented in the industry and also in the services. If this system is performance, depending on the ways in which it is implemented, it does not always preserve the health of employees. How union actors involved in these lean projects? Do they arrive to contribute to the building of enabling organizations through these projects? Our research investigated retrospectively 5 lean projects to identify brakes and levers. Of these, at the business organization level and the production and work organization level, we find: Share the same representation of what makes a successful project, make constructive discussion in paritarian board, have knowledge about the lean, get involved, lead teams, being available and finally, get beyond the categories imposed by the definition of waste lean. This is how unions can play a role in the implementation of Lean projects in a health and performance goal.
