ABSTRACT
The article reports on the notice issued by India's Delhi High Court in October 2015 to the city government on a plea of application-based cab service provider Uber India which challenged the City Taxi Scheme 2015 claiming that the Delhi government had exceeded its jurisdiction. Topics include the provisions of the City Taxi Scheme 2015 and the plea of Uber which challenges the validity of the City Taxi Scheme 2015 which introduced to enforce ban orders against radio cabs.
