This article presents a response to the op-ed written by Roberto Zurbano in the "New York Times" regarding race relations and the conditions of blacks in Cuba. The author comments on the reaction of Víctor Fowler of the Cuban journal "La Jiribilla," especially his support of freedom of the press and of expression.
