This article presents a response to the op-ed written by Roberto Zurbano in the "New York Times" regarding race relations and the conditions of blacks in Cuba. The author comments on the reaction of Cuban writer Guillermo Rodríguez Rivera, particularly to the publishing of Zurbano's article in the "Diario de Cuba" newspaper.
