The article reports on the success of the country music band Parmalee with specific reference to how a life-changing experience strengthened the connection between members of the group. It discusses how band mambers Matt Thomas, Barry Knox and Josh McSwain raised fund for the medical care of Scott Thomas who was shot during a robbery attempt outside a South Carolina nightclub.
