ABSTRACT
The article features therapy dogs Gracie and Broghan, who visited Topeka, Kansas where children were enrolling in middle school. Topics discussed include the belief of school psychologist Stephanie Avila that the dogs will help eliminate bullying in the school, the dogs' immediate response to children who are upset, and their other skills, including helping people who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and tracking down missing pets.
