ABSTRACT
Not a great week for local television news aficionados in New York City. Channel 4 of WNBC canned Michèle Marsh as anchorwoman. At Channel 2 of WCBS they eliminated their 4:30 afternoon newscast, which for some years has been beating the competition to the news punch. Now Channel 2 reports at 5 p.m., like everyone else. Taking over the time slot from local news, yet another courtroom show, "The Peoples Court."
