ABSTRACT
The article presents the author's views on the political, social, and economic conditions in the U.S. as of October 2014, highlighting the concept of libertarianism. He provides a background of American politics which includes the election of Ronald Reagan as president who served as a harbinger of a novel type of freedom. He argues that the U.S. needs liberty-minded solutions as there are evidences that statism and collectivism have failed.
