ABSTRACT
The first really interesting thing the author experienced after landing in Dublin, Ireland, was that when he reached Temple Bar, he heard a voice ringing out over the crowd. When he tracked down the source of this voice, it was a beggar boy standing with a bucket, singing out these folk songs at the top of his voice. It was really an arresting sound. The first first musical thing the author did on his movie 'Veronica Guerin' was to take a cappella street performance of this child and some orchestral music around it.
