Reports that British broker Sedgwick has purchased a risk/insurance product from the alternative risk transfer markets in Bermuda and London. Aim of reducing government liabilities owed as part of industry-wide pension sales problems during the late 1980s and early 1990s; British government's assignment of liability to both the broker and insurers for faulty advice given to consumers who bought private pensions.
