ABSTRACT
Unilever PLC has concluded the second phase of its pan-European SAP 4.6 standardization project, with 85 per cent of its Western European workforce now trained on the new system. The second stage began by providing onsite classroom tuition to around 1,100 German and Dutch Home and Personal Care Europe staff, using a mix of Super Users and trainers from DA Consulting Group. 'Although we used the same model in France and Spain, it was a real test due to the language barrier,' explains Christian Wolff, director of information management services for Unilever. Wolff reveals that the Spanish rollout had the highest attendance figures and the smallest number of issues after the go-live date.
