Bertelsmann raises $758 mil in Euro markets

Bertelsmann AG raised €650 million from European capital markets. The placement, which came on the heels of a $500 million float in the United States in April, puts the German media company in a position to make major acquisitions, something it has ignored from during the past year after a managerial and strategic change.
