ABSTRACT

The Hewlett-Packard (HP) and Compaq merger has led to a convergence of their certifications. 'In bringing together the two programmes,' explains Mike Bicknell, HP's partner education manager for Great Britain and Ireland, 'we deliberately sought to bring out the best of each and ensure that the combined programme was enriched.' As a result, the new certifications have been altered — although they do now have a common look and feel. INSETS: HP Certified Professional Programme ratings;The end-user buy-in conundrum.
