In an agreement signed with the Baxi Partnership Ltd., an investment trust whose aim is to encourage employee ownership, staff at Learning IT will own half of the Scottish firm. The employees' share will be held by the Baxi Partnership, although two employees will be elected to join the board. 'We've always been interested in the idea, but before now we could not see how to do it,' says Duncan Macleod, Learning IT's managing director and co-founder.
