Features a recorder being developed as part of the European Community's Drive program designed to curb reckless driving. Cost of the recorded developed by Bill Fincham of London, England; Cost of crash damage insurance to the Association of British Insurers; Opposition of the Automobile Association to the use of the recorder; Clarification from the British Transport of Department that there are no plans to make drive recorders to compulsory.
