ABSTRACT
The article presents news briefs relevant to advertising in the United States and Europe compiled as of August 6, 1990. Various campaigns were launched by Taco Bell, Nike and Del Monte Foods. Sportswear retailer, Zubaz has launched print and outdoor advertisements starring celebrities. Comfed Bancorp has launched a newspaper campaign in New England in response to negative publicity from the savings and loan's continued losses and lending fraud.
