SMTAI Announces Special Symposiums, Emerging Technologies Summit

Minneapolis, Minnesota-based Surface Mount Technology Association (SMTA) is celebrating its annual SMTA International conference with the Assembly Tech Expo at the Donald Stephens Convention Center in Rosemont, Illinois, between September 21-25, 2003. The Emerging Technologies Summit will feature three sessions on SiP/ED, microelectromechanical systems and wireless, followed by a panel discussion moderated by Ken Gilleo of Cookson Electronics. The Contract Manufacturing Symposium will feature two sessions during which attendees will learn how to better manage aspects of current business that positively affect the bottom line and how to determine if offshore outsourcing is the best decision for business development.
