ABSTRACT
The article discusses the use of animal foods in macrobiotic practice. Topics covered include the highlights of "The Book of Macrobiotics" by Michio Kushi, the use of animal foods in modern macrobiotic diet, and the highlights of the report "The China Study" by T. Colin Campbell. It also discusses the development of the first randomized, controlled clinical trial for using macrobiotic approach to breast cancer conducted by researchers at Tufts University and Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.
