ABSTRACT
The article talks about a systematic review and meta-analysis on weight underestimation of parents of overweight or obese children. Topics include parental underestimation of child weight, obesity interventions, and the value of changes in perceived health risk and lifestyle along with correcting parent perceptions. Results of the study show that half of parents underestimate their child's weight and is more likely for parents of younger children or children with lower body mass index (BMI).
