The article offers information on the findings of a study which states that the confectionary industry in India will be increasing at an annual compound growth rate of 23% for the period 2013-2018. Four retailers in diverse retail formats were interviewed to share their insights based on the rise of the confectionery category since 2012. It provides some important findings to the interview including the own space of premium brands.
