ABSTRACT

The article mentions that telecommunication firm Ciena has introduced new facilities to help Internet service providers and cloud computing providers to give increased bandwidth and improved services to their employees. It states that Ciena is supporting integration of web-scale Information Technology (IT) in networking and according to the research conducted by Gartner Inc., by the year 2017, more than 50 percent of global enterprises will be using web-scale IT.
