ABSTRACT
A customer survey can only be called a success if in consequence the libraries actually use the results to improve their quality and develop offers that are sought after. By the method of the so-called 'bench learning' it is shown how a suitable follow-up process could look like. First the concept and organizational prerequisites for bench learning are explained, then the planned procedure is presented based on the actual structures found in the Berlin libraries. Different kinds of evaluation methods are roughly presented and explained.
