Cleary and Slaughters advise GSK on £574m stake sale in South African drug-maker Aspen

The article reports that law firms Slaughter and May and Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton have been appointed as advisers for the sale of half of the stake of pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline in drug manufacturer Aspen. It states that the proceed from the sale of the 6.2 per cent stake of GlaxoSmithKline in Aspen will be used to invest in other business opportunities. It adds that the transaction will be led by advisers Nicola Fell of Slaughters and Sebastian Sperber of Cleary Gottlieb.
