ABSTRACT
NatCity Investments Inc. has hired former PNC Capital Markets Inc. professionals Linda D. Eremita, Gary P. Nowicki and Jason Appelt for its higher education finance group. Eremita, a senior vice president, was most recently manager of PNC public finance group, and has been affiliated with the firm since 1992. Nowicki has 10 years of investment banking and financial modeling experience, working with municipal governments, school districts, higher education institutions, health care clients, and nonprofits. Most recently, Nowicki was a director in the public finance group for PNC and has extensive investment banking relationships with higher education and nonprofit institutions in the mid-Atlantic region. Appelt, a vice president, was formerly a director at PNC, where he was responsible for marketing strategies used to secure new clients and providing guidance on fiscal policy regarding debt structuring, interpretation of legal documentation, and compliance with tax law.
