ABSTRACT
The article focuses on film writer and director Richard Linklater and the decoration in his office desk. Linklater is known for his cult films including "Dazed and Confused," the Before Sunrise trilogy, and "School of Rock." He founded the Austin Film Society, wherein he serve as artistic director. Linklater explains the decoration in his desk, including a facsimile of one of the "Dazed and Confused" paddles, half-sheet of Edgar Ulmer's "Poverty Row," and cashews and chocolates.
