ABSTRACT
The article discusses the provisions of the Economic Incentives for the Development of Puerto Rico Act which offers attractive tax rates and other incentives to foster investment in key sectors in the country. Topics include the eligible businesses, the application process for a tax decree, and the incentives available for manufacturing companies. Also mentioned are the basic incentives for job creation and special fund for economic development.
