ABSTRACT
The article explores the relationship between the literary and cinematic adaptation of the book "The Lost Honor of Katharina Blum" by Heinrich Böll. It highlights the use of the concept of theatricality in examining the cultural codes. The significance of the application of the concept of theatricality in providing a clear understanding of the temporal association between the ethics and art is also emphasized.
