ABSTRACT
Many advertising agencies in Chicago, Illinois face same obstacles as their New York and Los Angeles, California-based counterparts. Problems faced by these companies include disorderly production, as well as tighter production budgets, a weak national economy and various world events. But these companies are optimistic on several fronts. Since May 2002, their business has increased modestly. They also believe that the quality of the creative work coming out of Midwest-based agencies is improving. DDB Chicago, one of the city's largest agencies, has decided to post their projects in their own neighborhood, which clearly bodes well for Chicago-based finishing houses.
