The author offers advice to small firms to focus on outsourcing, business efficiency and teamwork to succeed. Topics discussed include the reasons to be bullish about the role of smaller firms, the consequences for small firms that try to do everything themselves, the benefits of outsourcing, the management challenge for big companies and management skills, teamwork and well-defined processes as main components of the success of small firms.
