ABSTRACT
The article offers a guide on the use and practical applications of screencasting software for educational, entertainment and other purposes. It notes that screencast can be used to record onscreen activities using the computer to create tutorials, record video streams and capture footage of computer games during actual play. It details steps on how to create computer software tutorials using the screencasting software ActivePresenter and tips on planning the presentation and recording audio.
