Shrimp Consumption after Deepwater Horizon

The article discusses a study assessing health risk of eating locally caught shrimp after Deepwater Horizon oil spill among Vietnamese-Americans in southeast Louisiana. Topics covered included a survey of 155 Vietnamese-American men and women where information on shrimp consumption before, during and after the spill was gathered and findings indicating that polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) contamination of the shrimp following the oil spill was not a serious health concern.
