ABSTRACT
Private equity funds around the world are preparing for an opportunity as the London Pensions Fund Authority (LPFA) plans to move some of its assets into private equity. The private equity industry of Great Britain has been neglected by domestic pension funds for the past few months. The LPFA is one of the largest local government pension scheme providers in England, and the largest in the country's capital, with over 70,000 fund members. The LPFA has hired Hymans Robertson to help it choose a private equity fund to manage its assets.
