Proctor & Gamble Co. has introduced a customized electronic learning tool to walk staff through its annual human resource appraisal process. The company laid the building blocks for the web-based tool, internally known as its Work and Development Plan, in less than three months. The intranet-based tool has been designed for everyone to use, explains Maria Farrow, associate director of learning and development for Proctor & Gamble. Farrow says the interactive tool has rapidly been taken up by staff around the globe, including Asia and North and South America.
