ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the four-day festival, Adventures in Big Band Jazz (ABBJ), presented by Ken Peston's Los Angeles Jazz Institute which will include five panel discussions, five film showings, and 15 big band concerts. It states that ABBJ celebrates many creative new big band sounds that began at the beginning of the 1960s. It adds that ABBJ is also paying tribute to the alumni of different bands that played it by getting in musicians from all over the world.
