This article focuses on the abstracts of the papers which were presented at the National Conference in sales management, that was held in March 16-20 in saint Louis. One of the abstract is , the U.S. news and world reports reported that 1.1 million students graduated from our universities last spring. Less than 20 percent had obtained full-time employment by graduation. This article will make a case for the development of student portfolios to enhance the job interviewing experience. A student portfolio is a document that presents pieces of evidence portraying educational experiences, development of skills and extracurricular activities highlighting a student's strengths. over their academic career. Historically used by students in other academic areas such as art, photography and architecture, business schools have largely ignored this important strategic interviewing tool. Another abstract explores the importance of classroom behaviors of marketing professors to the success of the students. One hundred fifty marketing students from three universities were surveyed to determine which professor behaviors students perceived as contributing most to their academic success.
