The article describes the audition and acting apprenticeship for the theatrical production of "Cyrano" at the Williamstown Theater Festival in Williamstown, Massachusetts in July 1980. The theatrical company was invented by Nikos Psachropoulous in 1955. Some of the known hopefuls include Frank Langella, Laurie Kennedy, Christopher Reeve and Richard Dreyfuss.
