Abstract
ABSTRACT
This is a study of special features of immune response with the chronic herpetic infection and the estimation of the effectiveness of concomitant antiviral and immunomodulating therapy (panavir and Glutoksim). 30 patients of both sexes having a chronic relapsing infection caused by the virus of herpes simplex, by the epsteinbarr virus, by cytomegalovirus or by their combination (mixed infection) are included in the study. We study the special features of immune response with the aggravation of the chronic form of herpetic infections with the development of the syndrome of chronic fatigue. A study of the clinical effectiveness of concomitant immunomodulating and antiviral therapy is carried out. complex therapy causes both the regression of basic clinical symptoms with the herpetic infections and the normalization of the parameters of immune status.
